Description

Skunks spray a smelly, oily liquid from their anal glands as a defense mechanism. The spray can travel up to 10 feet and the odor can be detected up to 1.5 miles away. 

Skunks are carnivores that eat a variety of prey, including insects, small animals, and carrion. They are also known to eat poisonous snakes like rattlesnakes.
