Did you know that male Platypus are venomous. They have a hollow spur on each hind leg connectd to a venom secreting gland. Good new while this venom is leathal there are no recorded deaths from platypus stings. Like a shark the Platypus uses elctronic impulses to detect underwater pray and locate objects in the darkest depths. Did you know that when they are put under UV lights they give off a bioflourscent green-blue glow! No one knows why, but even stranger are the people who keep putting them under UV Lights!
Now you can take home your own Platypus. Sorry they don't glow under UV Light, but some may glow in the dark.
